"The biggest thing I can say is I wish I started sooner. I'm extremely comfortable with traveling by myself, and while I'm always cautious about being safe, this is an extra added level of comfort should something happen to me. I also know that I'm more likely to stay active if I have a scheduled commitment, so I figured that if I do that I might as well go ahead and train with a purpose and pick up some new skills. There's so much that's going on in the world that I cannot control, but this trains me to control my body and emotions and to manage an outcome/situation.
